Q : How do you make communication settings for App Scale?
① There is no need for separate communication settings for Bfit App Body Scale.

Q : The weight graph is too small to discern.
① Weight graph zooming effect: Graph can be enlarged using two fingers, and this will make it easier to see the graph. Search and move functions are also available.
② Detailed search of measurements: Clicking on the measurement records will show detailed information of the records.
Q : The weight record just recently measured has disappeared.
Only one measurement per hour can be saved, and measurements made within the hour will be overwritten by the most recent measurement.
Q : I would like to delete the records.
① Records cannot be deleted. However, if weight is re-measured within 1 hour, the most recent weight will be recorded.

Q : How much data can be recorded?
① A single record is less than 100bytes, which means the daily measurements for 1 year will be less than 1Mbytes, smaller in file size than a single mp3 music file.
Q : Is it impossible to record without running the app?
The app must be running to record weight in order to check and record the results with the smartphone.
Q : What happens to the recorded data when Bfit App is uninstalled before being reinstalled, or when I get a new phone?
① The information recorded in the smartphone will be deleted, and you will be able to check the older weight records using the App Coach Service (coach menu on the lower section of the app).
② However, once you reinstall the app, you will be able to use the Coach Service only when your email address and password are entered to access older records.
Q : Weight measurements are difficult.
① Remove sound from the surrounding areas: Bfit App Body Scale is a home appliance in which the smartphone app and the scale communicate through sound. When there is too much noise in the surrounding area, measurement will not be accurate. Use in a quiet area.
② Close any app using the microphone: Bfit App recognizes sound from the Bfit Body Scale. When another app is using the microphone, measurements may inaccurate. Close any app using the microphone.
Q : The measurement results are inaccurate.
① Place the scale on flat and sturdy surface.
② Measurements will be inaccurate on carpets or non-sturdy, sloped, or infirm ground.
Q : What is the communication distance?
① It is recommended that you use the app within 2 meters.
② It may depend on the noise in the surrounding area, but at home, communication at distances up to 10m is possible.
Q : What is the “UNIT” button on the bottom of the body scale?
① Weight indication mode: Clicking the “UNIT” button will show “0.0kg” on the display window of the scale, with the weight shown during the weighing process.
② SONIC mode: If the “Sonic” indication appears when “UNIT” button is clicked, the weight is available only in the Bfit App and not on the scale (secure mode).

Q : Is the app unavailable without Bfit App authorization?

② The basal metabolism on the left of the graph indicates the required amount of calories to be consumed.
③ When recording daily diet, the amount of calorie intake and any remaining will be automatically indicated.
④ The work metabolism on the right side of the graph sets the objective exercise based on the “weekly workout amount,” and when exercise is recorded, the amount of calories consumed will be shown.
⑤ Daily calorie requirement refers to the sum of the basal metabolic rate and the work metabolic rate. In order to reach the target weight, refer to the daily calories requirement to control the caloric intake.
Q : How do I record food intake?
① Run App Coach and select the “Record Diet” to see the screen for input.
② Click on the “+” button on the right of the desired date for recording on top of the Record Diet screen to enter the time of consumption and search the type of food.
③ Select the amount of consumption on the searched food list and click the “+” button on the right to record.
Q : How do I record exercise
① Run App Coach and select “Record Exercise” on the top left menu to see the exercise record screen.

① Basal metabolism has the same meaning as resting metabolism or stable metabolism, and it is the minimum energy necessary for maintenance of life.
② Work metabolism has the same meaning as energy metabolism or activity metabolism, and it is the calories created in the process of energy exchange. It is referred to work metabolism especially when calories are spent during exercise.
③ Daily calorie need is the amount of energy required per day, and it is the sum of the basal metabolic rate and energy metabolism.
